A group of us went to the Orange County Fair on Saturday to celebrate Matt's birthday.  It was fun and exhausting.  We were there for 9 hours.

In November, xxtapemakerxx Matt and I are going to New York. It'll be a fancy ladies bro-cation. The point of the trip for me will be to see the Broadway musical Spider-man: Turn off the Dark. I hadn't been to Knott's Berry Farm in something like 15 years. So when Matt xxtapemakerxx invited me up for a theme park day, I was all over it. In fact, we made a little bro-cation out of my trip.

It's funny to me that most of my favorite friends right now are out-of-towners, yet we see each other all the time. A bunch them came down for the 4th of July weekend. It was great.

Saturday Night, international mega-DJ 50poundnote DJed Bear Night. I'm not much of a dancer, but I went out on the floor a few times.

When I heard Star Tours 2 was officially opening on June 3rd, I almost immediately started making plans to be there. I'm a big Star Wars fan and an Annual Passholder for Disneyland, so it was a no-brainer.

I knew the lines would be bad, but I stood in line longer for that ride than for anything else in my life, ever.

I have a lot of CDs, and it's been a long time since I've had them in a nice, tidy rack. They looked so bad that I considered boxing them and storing them in the garage.

While I was out of town a few weeks ago, I heard that tickets for Prince's 21-night residency were going on sale. I'm a hug fan, so I jumped at the chance to get tickets. I didn't realize the night I got tickets for was the night before Easter. Oops*.
